§ 150.99. PENALTY.

- (A) Any person who violates any provision of the state codes adopted in § 150.01 shall be subject to the following penalties:(1) Violators of the Uniform State Building Code and the Uniform State Residential Code shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than ten dollars ($10) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1000) for each offense.(KRS 198B.990(1))(2) Violators of the State Standards of Safety shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1000), imprisonment for not more than sixty (60) days, or both, for each offense.(KRS 227.990(1))(3) Violators of the State Plumbing Code shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than ten dollars ($10) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100), imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days, or both, for each offense.(KRS 318.990)(Ord. 81-14, passed 1-18-82)(C) Violation of the provisions of these sign regulations, found in §§ 150.30 et seq. shall constitute a civil offense subject to citation by the City of Hillview Code Enforcement Officer. The fine for a first offense shall be $25, for a second offense $50, for all subsequent offenses $100. Should the citation be contested and be upheld by the City of Hillview Code Enforcement Board, the fine shall increase by $75.(Ord. 97-14, passed 9-15-97; Am. Ord. 2017-18, passed 11-6-17)
